The passengers and Selim start to fight. Selim beats one of them but the other guy breaks the taxi’s window and flees.
Umit is in the morgue to see the woman’s body. The officer says the body was in the car during the explosion so Umit may have difficulties recognizing the body. Umit sees the burnt body. He still can’t believe but he has a breakdown. The officer hands him some stuff found around the car. He asks whether all that stuff belongs to Arzu or not. Umit says those are her belongings. He also adds he wouldn’t recognize Arzu if it was for that stuff.

Umit is devastated. He remembers the past and jumps to a conclusion. He thinks Melek and her family are the reason for this. So he wants revenge now. He wants to make them pay.
Elif knows he word mortgage now but he doesn’t know the meaning. He asks Melek the meaning of that word. Melek remembers the day when Yusuf brought the money for Elif’s rescue. She understands the sacrifice Yusuf made. Then she asks him about the bookstore and the money. Yusuf admits it but now Melek is worried for the bookstore.

Selim takes the car to the owner. He scolds Selim. Selim says he can’t turn his head to the other side when someone is treated unfair. He says he will pay for the damage and hands the keys to the owner of the taxi… because he quits.

Selim comes home and tells her family about his day and everything. Then suddenly Umit barges in and threatens the family. He thinks Melek is the reason why his baby died. He tries to attack her but Selim and Yusuf takes Umit outside the house. Yusuf explains the day Arzu died. He wants to calm Umit down… and he manages to do that. Umit leaves with questions in his head.

Melek has new concerns. She thinks now Arzu is gone and Umit will continue torturing them. Yusuf thinks that won’t be possible because Arzu was different and Umit is more rational.
Cevahir tells two of his working girls to go change Melek’s mind. He thinks Melek would listen if the girls talk to her.
