It was a quiet day at the stable. The chickens were feeding, two crows were eyeing each other suspiciously, and a curious raccoon was watching the proceedings from a hole in the stable roof. Hoss the ranch hand had arrived to do his chores along with Buckshot his canine companion. one of Hoss' horses Ed, the chestnut stallion, watched placidly from his stall.
As Hoss contemplated his day, Buckshot pulled the rope that opened Morpheus' stall and to everyones' surprise today was the day Morpheus would earn his reputation as the "Horse of a Different Colour." It should have come as no surprise since Morpheus' great grandfather had been featured in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, but that's a different matter altogether.
