Edit: As of late-2025, this video in particular just so happens to be my most popular. And the ironic thing is that it isn't even my most effortful video. I believe the search and recommendation algorithms are at fault for this. I also noticed that the video got corrupted when it was uploaded, as there is a certain point where the video jumps ahead by a few frames. The original file doesn't have this problem.
This was produced before my previous computer stopped working, and was recovered from a cloud backup. I uploaded it because I found it to be more effortful compared to the majority of other veg replace scans. It is a veg replacement of my QuickTime scan (not roomscan), using a tornado siren video as the source. Adjustments were made to the project file at the time of creation, so it would match up as closely as possible to the source. This means the end result didn't sound like an effortless source swap. I also ended up using percussion samples from the original Shuric Scan music, as there was no form of audio in the source that was usable for proper percussion samples.
With all of that said, I wouldn't advise making content by means of veg replacements unless you can actually make it sound good. Veg replacements should also not be the primary method of content production in Vegas Pro. YTPMVs like this - as well as other forms of musical remixes - should always be made manually whenever possible. I respectfully also strongly advise against using leaked and/or widely used Vegas project files for veg replacements (e.g roomscan). These are of course just opinions, so I don't expect any agreements.
