The 2026 Naval update has changed rust forever. Players can now access the deep sea, an event-based new zone of the map accessible only by RHIBs and player-made vessels. With any big patch, there comes plenty of growing pains as the player base learns the ins and outs of the new content. In this video, I run dozens of tests on five main boat building systems: sails, engines, cannons, small ramps, and anchors.
From researching for this video and your feedback on my previous video, I was able to redesign The Cutter to be even faster, and provide an updated tutorial.
