Throughout my many years of enjoying combat flight sims, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War was THE game that kicked everything off for me. Ever since I flew Mission 1 Shorebirds in the basic F-5E.. I was hooked! And to this day, I still think I wouldn't have enjoyed flight sims like DCS World if it wasn't for this game.
And thanks to the amazing @Gaussercito - we can now enjoy a wonderfully (and faithfully!) recreated series of missions from Ace Combat 5 in Digital Combat Simulator. Please, send love @Gaussercito's way! Also, feel free to share your thoughts on this new F-5E Remastered upgrade from Eagle Dynamics. Should we have gotten more for this $10 upgrade?
