In 2011, a 19 year old Danny Hart lined up at the UCI Downhill World Championships in Champéry, Switzerland. A track so steep and brutal it was already feared by the world’s best. But when a storm rolled in and conditions turned to chaos, Hart delivered what many still call the greatest downhill run of all time.
Fourteen years later, we look back at that iconic day through the eyes of Danny himself, his rivals like Greg Minnaar and Aaron Gwin, and the commentators whose words became legend. This is the story of how one run changed downhill racing forever.
Special thanks to Freecaster for bringing this moment to life.

Kaos Seagrave forever looking steezy
And of course Danny Hart, still racing Champery 14 years later
