On a tiny boat at sea, a working man rows slow
With the sky and wind his teachers,
and the waves the books he knows
A wealthy man beside him, never seeing storms that grow
Asked with a tone of pride,
“Tell me what knowledge you carry on this road?”
The boatman softly smiled, eyes fixed on restless tides
Answering each question gently,
while watching clouds collide
“No school ever raised me, no merchant skill inside
Just a life that leans on nature
and the truth the winds provide”
The rich man laughed a little,
“You lack all skills, don’t you see?
Half your life is wasted for not learning things like me”
The boatman bowed with kindness,
as the storm rose wild and free
Then asked, “Do you know swimming?
For the waves are coming swiftly…”
For the worth of every human cannot be compared
A flower in the valley has a beauty of its share
The sea holds its wisdom, the mountains have their air
Your learning cannot judge me,
nor decide what I must bear
In the end the storm will show us,
which knowledge truly saves
And which pride will only drown us
in the deepest ocean waves
Every life is different, like the sky and falling rain
Every skill has value, nothing learned is ever vain
Never look down on others,
for one day you may remain
Needing them far more
than the pride you tried to gain
Повторяем попытку...
