When it comes to the signers of the Declaration of Independence, there is a small poem which details the suffering of some members. However, few people could actually name more than five signers.
Who were these men? Each of the men who signed one of the most important documents in the history of the United States came together for this momentous occasion and then went into fifty-six different directions. Some found fame and notoriety while others fell into obscurity.
In this video for the Fourth of July, we look at these fifty-six men and discover what happened to them after they signed the Declaration of Independence.
