Описание: The Supreme Court has given the central government four weeks to express its stand on the petition seeking recognition of Ram Setu as a historical monument. The court asked the Center to file an affidavit within four weeks. Petitioner Subramanian Swamy stated that the matter has been stuck for many years. The government has to tell whether it wants to declare Ram Setu as a historical monument or not. Swamy first raised the issue of Ram Sethu in 2018, when he had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to declare the Ram Setu as a national heritage.
