DIY EGR Valve Cleaning - 2009 Mercedes Benz W204 C200 Part 42

Описание: I had a 20D3 error code which pointed to the actuator on the EGR valve. I decided to try the simple thing first by removing the EGR valve and cleaining it. Removing it was a pig of a job but I finally prevailled with my slide hammer. It didn't look too bad so I cleaned it anyway using Mr Muscle oven cleaner. It looked a whole lot better once it was done so I refitted the EGR valve. I had to scan for error codes because I run the engine with the EGR valve disconnected when I was trying to remove it.
