Before the end of 2023, I wanted to take a trip to a place I don't know anything about. I decided to take a trip to Numazu City in Shizuoka prefecture.
Numazu is a city that sits between Suruga Bay (deepest bay in Japan) and Mt Fuji. A coastal city between these two locations seems like a trip worth doing. This was a pretty spontaneous 2 day 1 night trip, so I didn't really have much of a plan. Based on some light research, I knew they had an aquarium and a lookout tower that overlooks the wharf.
There was more to Numazu than I initially thought as I would soon find a relation between an unexpected anime series before even leaving the station.
At the end of my trip, I left feeling there was more to see as I found out there was a lot more nature to explore, and places to eat. I definitely do want to come back, with a plan, and see what else Numazu, and Shizuoka prefecture have to offer!
I have also since watched and became a fan of Love Live! Sunshine!! and the members of Aqours (both in the anime and in real life).
