YouTubers Life 2 - Tips and Tricks

Today I am doing a video on some tips and tricks for YouTubers Life 2. Hopefully some of these can help you out with this game, seeing as this sequel has a completely different look, feel and gameplay compared to the first game.

All right let's get started and please remember to like, subscribe or leave a comment and it really does help me out.

1) My first tip is to use subways to travel between districts.

As you are probably aware, time in this game goes very fast and if you have to travel from one district to another this can easily cost you are few hours of game time.

but if you use the subways then you can save a lot of time which will allow you to do more things during the day.

2) My second tip is the Scooter exam

I have seen quite a few comments in the discord chat and community hub asking for help with this. Its actually really straight forward if you go right first and just stay between the cones on the red road.

You can start the exam by going to the city hall and requesting a permit. As you can see I am outside the city hall, lets go in and speak to Lorenzo

Select the option "Get the scooter permit". This will take you to the port district

3) Tip 3 - Manage your time.
Shops are mostly open til 7pm but you can stay awake til 4am before you need to sleep and there is any impact to your energy

Do the things you need to do during the business hours (find trends, commissions) and then come back to your apartment to record and edit videos from 7pm. This still gives you 7 hours to record and edit videos - which is more than enough time.

4) Check Instalife every morning

When you get the Instalife app - make sure to check it every morning. There can be hints about certain trends or events.

As you can see here one of my top trends is Dogs. In my insta feed I can see that the mayoress has a post saying that we do a tribute to dogs, so you know you can go check out the mayoress to see if you can capture that trend.

5) Tip 5 Increase your energy
Energy is super important for creating and editing videos. So wouldnt it be great if you can increase your energy level... Well its actually very simple

All you need to do is train 4 times at a gym... but.... you cannot eat unhealthy food in between any of the 4 sessions.

If we look at the food here at AFK eSports Bar you can see that food with the green heart and dumbell is our indicator if the food is healthy of not. If the symbol has been crossed out, its unhealthy. If it hasnt been crossed out its healthy.

I am going to buy a few of these so that I can use in between some gym sessions to get my energy back. Ok lets head over to the gym

Ok, I am at the gym now and we have a few options of equipment we can use to train with. The punching bag, the treadmill and the weights.

For this example I am going to use the punching bag. Lets walk up and interact with the bag, its puts us in to a really simple mini game where we have to press the space bar... but notice when we complete the mini-game the blue bar increases

We just need to repeat this process 4 times to increase our level. Unfortunately the UI doesnt really show that our energy has increased but trust me it has.


6) Tip 6 - Getting trends.
A really good way to get trends is to take a picture with that trend and then post it on instalife.

As you can see the game Clarasoft is one of my top trends, so here I am standing in Player 1 next to the game Clarasoft. If I take a pic right now that will give me the tag for Clarasoft so that when I record a video later, that will be added as a tag for that video.

But not only will I get the Clarasoft tag, as you can see I also get the Moba, Jumpguys and Action tags because they are all relevant here.

If I walk over to the consoles for sale then I can pick up the console tag as well.

For most of my games I check my trends every morning and if there are any game or console high trending tags then I walk here before doing anyting else and take some photos and post them on instalife. Its a very short trip if your house is in downtown.
