📍 Cinematic Impressions from Japan – Leica SL3-S Test Footage
During my recent trip to Japan, I had the opportunity to test the brand-new Leica SL3-S, capturing some of the country’s breathtaking natural beauty, historic temples, and quiet moments in cinematic form.
Thanks to the generous support from @LeicaCameraGlobal Deutschland and @KameraExpressDeutschland I was able to spend time exploring the capabilities of this fantastic camera and put together a first visual impression.
All footage was recorded in ProRes 4K, using Leica’s native L-mount lenses in a range of 24mm up to 200mm. A light touch of post-production was applied – minimal color correction, with the intention of preserving the original look and feel straight out of the camera.

– Basic color correction
– No heavy grading just the CST to Leica L-Log and some Masking
