Mel had a chance to meet up with Scott and Debbie Anderson of Scotty’s Garage. They are regulars at the AACA Fall Meet in Hershey. 2024 was their 45th consecutive year to attend the event. 30 years in the same spot!
Scotty’s Garage is a leading vendor of original and reproduction gas station memorabilia. They sell gas pumps, globes, restoration parts & supplies, decals, garage signs, novelty gift items and many collectibles.
Scott is the author of the premier book on petroliana, “Check the Oil,” a pectoral history of American filling stations with price guide.
You’ll see some of their restoration work when you visit Walt Disney’s MGM Studio Theme Park in Orlando, Florida and EuroDisney in Paris, France. They have provided Universal Studios, and many other movie production companies with set dressings and props for films such as “Avalon”, “Bridges of Madison County” and more.
