With its general consensus having since shifted from positive to overwhelmingly negative, Modder Nekatus has taken it upon himself to revisit The Island, in order to bring it more in-line with ARK Ascended’s most recent Map iterations. Consider this my non-comprehensive critique of The Island Reforged.

When I was first recording for this Video, it was done on the release version of Reforged, without any of the new, post-release visual alterations Nekatus made to the Map, like additional fog and improved lighting. While these updates aren’t comprehensive in fixing every issue I have with The Island Reforged in the former half of this Video, they certainly have improved upon a lot of my original critique.
