◾ Sant Medir or the sweetest festival is an annual festival that takes place in March in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona, in which no less than 60 tons of candies are distributed from horse-drawn carriages. Spectators are armed with bags, umbrellas, and buckets to collect as many candies as possible.
