Meg is nominated for best collaboration and video of the year for "Bongos" with Cardi B, best female hip-hop artist, and BET Her for "Hiss."

She's been nominated for a career total of 13 BET Awards and already has six wins under her belt coming into this year's ceremony. She took home her first trophy in 2020 for best female hip-hop artist. She is also slated to open the night's show with a performance, kicking off what promises to be a very steamy night.

Regardless of the night's outcome, Megan Thee Stallion has a lot to celebrate right now. She's currently in the middle of her Hot Girl Summer Tour. She's about to wrap up the North American leg of the tour before heading to the U.K. and Europe, and she just dropped her latest album Megan on June 28.

In a May interview with L'Officiel, the "WAP" artist said she was "tapping into other sounds" for this album, her first since 2022. However, she assured fans that it would still very much be her.

“It won't feel like I went so left. It'll feel true to me,” she said. “You'll almost be like, ‘I wouldn't have thought she would've rapped over that, but this sounds great.’”

The musician has also been showing off her flair for dramatic style while touring and promoting her album — including rocking orange hair just days ago. She showed off the vibrant hue on Instagram while teasing her album and paired the new hairstyle with a matching outfit.

She captioned a second Instagram, "Hot Girl Summer," further showing off the look, which had curled bangs, space buns, and long orange strands.

The 2024 BET Awards airs on June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
