The main purpose is to see sunrise on top of the second tallest Mayan structure in the world (Temple IV). With helps of a local guide, Sayu is able to learn more about what he saw in Guatemala City, hears what a local Mayan thinks about the real reason why Tikal became a "Lost City", and sees the biggest surprise of them all: venomous snakes!

Templo VI (Temple of the Inscriptions): Sayu's first ever Mayan temple encounter that gave away an exact date in the seemingly lost Mayan history.

Palacio de las Ventanas / Palacio de los Murciélagos (Palace of the Windows / Palace of Bats): A palace type structure where visitors can go in and explore the different chambers. Beware of bats!

"Mundo Perdido (The Lost World): A complex that is believed to be among the earliest structures in Tikal that resemble structures seen in Teotihuacan in modern day Mexico. This complex is also believed to be the last portion of Tikal to be abandoned. Structures include 5C-49 and 5C -54, also known as the Pyramid of the Lost World. The latter is where the sunset tour of Tikal takes place.

Templo I (Temple of the Great Jaguar): The symbol of Tikal that's often featured on post cards. One of the best preserved and most famous Mayan temples in the world.

La Gran Plaza de Tikal (The Great Plaza of Tikal): An open space surrounded by Tikal's most prominent buildings, including Temple I, Temple II, North Acropolis, and Central Acropolis. It is considered as the core of Tikal. Ideal place for bird watching where you can find toucans, parakeets, and Montezuma oropendolas.

Templo II (Temple of the Masks): Prominent temple where visitors can climb up and see the panoramic view of the Great Plaza, Temple I, North Acropolis, and Central Acropolis.

Templo V (Temple V): The second tallest temple style structure in Tikal. This is where the sunrise experience takes place.

Plaza de los Siete Templos (Plaza of the Seven Temples): An open space surrounded by both Temple like structures and palace type structures that resemble Palacio de Las Acanaladuras

Templo IV (Temple of the Double - Headed Serpent): Tallest structure in Tikal and second tallest Mayan temple in the world as of now. Offers sweeping views of Temple I, Temple II, and Temple III. It's best known as the setting for Rebel Base "Yavin 4" in Star Wars IV - A New Hope.

La Acrópolis Central (The Central Acropolis): Believed to be the living quarters of Tikal's ruling class.
