Why is head drawing so important? Well, to start things off, it's the first thing we see. The head is a part of the body that we look at 80% of the time when talking to someone and is what we focus on when we watch others talk … in person or on the tv or movie screen.

One of the things that makes Drawing the Head challenging … is the endless amount of unique features that make us all so different. This is also what is fun about Drawing the Head … it can be pushed and pulled … and a facial feature from one person can be borrowed and added to another person … and it’s the combination of doing so that allows for a plethora of fun Head drawings.

In this video you’ll watch the process from the universal breakdown to pushing proportions as short and sweet as possible here in this quick video snippet.
