Goa Police have arrested two persons in connection with the alleged murder of a 61-year-old man in Cuchelim, Bardez.

The victim, Subhash Rama Naik, was reportedly assaulted near a bar and restaurant on April 29. Police said the accused allegedly attacked him with slaps, kicks, and fist blows, which led to his death.

A murder case has been registered, and both accused were taken into custody on May 2. Further investigation is currently underway.
