Описание: Our favorite bolt-action rifle of the World Wars, bar none. The Pattern 1914 Enfield was originally designed as a replacement for the SMLE, chambering a new rimless .276 cartridge. In the end, wartime exigency dictated a return to the .303 British chambering (and an SMLE focus), but some 1.2 million P14s were produced on US contracts with Remington, Winchester, and Eddystone. The rifle then provided the basic design for the Model 1917 in .30-06, the most widely-used US rifle of World War One. There's an exotic twist to the tale of this particular Eddystone P14, told early on in the video.
