Implementation of the scheme has been proven to tangibly reduce organisations’ vulnerability to attack, with recent statistics showing that organisations that implement Cyber Essentials are 92% less likely to make a claim on their cyber insurance. Feedback from those organisations that have already certified has also been overwhelmingly positive; 89% of certified organisations would recommend Cyber Essentials certification to other organisations like theirs.

As such, on 22 January 2025 at 11am, URM hosted a Cyber Essentials Q&A session, in which one of our expert Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessors will answered key questions about the scheme, including requirements, costs, benefits and potential pitfalls.
