In 1991 Dave Swarbrick and Martin Carthy both reached the age of 50 and embarked on their fourth "Farewell" tour. Influential to a generation of musicians and their fans, their skills remain undiminished. This video captures them in front of a concert audience at the West End Centre in Aldershot, England and demonstrates why they were and are still regarded as the doyens of the folk scene. Some old favourites are mixed in with new material to provide you with over an hour of the very best in folk music.
