When it comes to memory sports, Simon Reinhard is one of the most successful persons who have ever taken part in memory tournaments. Two-times World Champion, multiple European Champion and world record holder and winner of the most international tournaments.

He is also one of the greatest experts for using memory techniques in job, school, university and daily life and gives courses on that.

Since some time, Reinhard has put his focus on finding an efficient way to use memory techniques for chess content. He has a deep love for chess, with a best national rating of 2249 (DWZ).

In 2018, an interview with Reinhard about chess and memory appeared on the Chessbase website, with a new interview in 2021 on Chessbase India on the horizon. In that soon-to-appear interview Reinhard was quizzed for over an hour about a complex and sharp opening file, many hundreds of moves long with lots of branching variations, that he had to memorize in the run-up of the interview and that he had to recall perfectly, not only in broad strokes but in move-by-move pin-point accuracy.

For some time now, Reinhard has been giving courses on "How to improve your chess memory" for many students, among them also a number of titled players, e.g. two Grandmasters with a 2600+ rating. Feedback has been great and his students, one of them even a chess professional, managed to successfully include his learning methods into their daily routine.
