The California Prenatal Screening Program will begin offering first-tier cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening to all pregnant Californians later in 2022. In the first webinar addressing the program redesign and how it will affect prenatal care providers, Dr. Mary Norton discusses the clinical aspects of cfDNA screening and why the cfDNA expansion will raise the quality of prenatal screening. Dr. Jasmine Lai also presents on prenatal screening, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Guidance Bulletin 226 and health equity.
