Quilt designs are one of the most requested and popular patterns in the caking world. They are perfect for baby showers, weddings/engagements, birthdays for children/adults. I think its a pattern people are just impressed with because it looks quite complex. In this video I'm showing how I do it which I think is the easiest way. But I do have another video doing the quilt design with a stamp and my god it is so simple and looks so beautiful so if you want to watch that tutorial the link will be below. If you are a new cake decorator then the quilt pattern is defiantly one you should practise because there will come a time you will be asked to do it.
