An incident at the time of the death of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

At the time of the Prophet's death, Gabriel (A.S.) came. He greeted the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah. Allah has greeted you and asked how you are. Allah knows everything, yet He asked you to know how you are."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, I am in great pain, I am in a sick state. Then Gabriel (PBUH) said, O Messenger of Allah (PBUH), a new angel has come with me today, an angel who has never asked permission to come to any human being, and Never ask, just ask your permission to come to you.

And that angel's name is Malakul Maut, Malakul Maut took the permission of the Prophet (PBUH) and came to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and greeted him, saying, O Messenger of Allah (PBUH), I am the protector of the lives of all people, starting from Adam (PBUH) until now. I have done it, and I will save the lives of as many people as I can until the Day of Resurrection. I have not asked permission from anyone and I do not need to ask. But when it comes today, Allah said that I should ask your permission. Prophet said Malakul Maut if I don't give permission? Malakul Maut said, Allah said if you don't get permission then come back.
