This series "Exploring Cape York Peninsula" captures the journey of the BKO crew as they conquer the most difficult 4x4 tracks Australia has to offer. We left late in the season 17/10/22 - 29/10/22.
We started filming in Cooktown and it seemed like the perfect place to rest and reset before taking on the Old Coach Road. While we were in Cooktown we took in some of the sights and history this epic little town is famous for. We also travel a few kilometres south to check out Archer's Point.
** This is a repost from what was the Black Knight Offroad YouTube channel from early 2023. If you watched the video there this is the same video but because it was taken down I have made this post public so it is available again to watch and share. It was originally called "Cape York Cruisin". I don't remember the caption from the original post so I will comment from my own perspective. In 2025 there was new technology available and I had extra knowledge so I decided to re-colour and remaster audio**
