What is Alkalinity and Acidity?

So, what causes acidity? Acidity is mainly caused by unhealthy dietary choices and acidic foods (such as red meats, processed foods, dairy), lack of frequent exercise, smoking, and alcohol.

When our body is confronted with all of these acidity-causing factors, it struggles to maintain the right pH in the right place - leading to overall malaise and acid reflux symptoms.

Adopting a lifestyle that promotes alkalinity (i.e. alkaline foods, alkaline water, and plenty of exercise) can help you balance out the pHs within your body and live a healthy life.
