On November 2, 2019, the 7th Korea Yoga Association President's Cup National Yoga Competition was held successfully in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of Anyang City Hall in Gyeonggi Province.

Hosted by the Korea Yoga Association and organized by the Gyeonggi Province Yoga Association, the competition saw enthusiastic participation from yogis across the country, with heated competitions taking place in the professional and individual categories, individual (professional and general), 2-3 person (professional and general), and team categories.

An official from the Korea Yoga Association stated, "This national competition, now in its seventh year, is the largest nationwide yoga competition in Korea. Furthermore, in addition to the competition's goals of promoting, encouraging, disseminating, standardizing, and supervising yoga as a form of recreational sport, the regularization of national competitions has also contributed to the development of city and provincial yoga associations and fostered a friendly competitive environment for regional development, including currently registered cities and provinces." They emphasized, "We plan to contribute to the development of the domestic yoga industry in various ways, including providing developmental alternatives for city and provincial competitions through future national competitions, providing basic manuals, and exploring yoga seminars, workshops, and training programs."
