Today, I finally unboxed my new 16x20" gelli plate by @gelliarts—a moment I've been dreaming about, mixed with a dash of nervous excitement (hence the giggling in the video). It's time to broaden my expansive monotype printmaking and ambitious laser print transfers. I’ll be facing the technical challenges of managing such a large format and creatively integrating larger laser prints into my work. I’m reminded that growth often comes with its share of struggles. How do we navigate the moments when our vision outpaces our current capabilities? I’d love to hear about your experiences with using larger Gelli Plates.
