The Divine Mercy Chaplet is i a prayer that is encouraged within the Catholic church, particularly for invoking God's mercy. It was given to Saint Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s by Jesus, as written in her diary.

This Catholic devotion can be said daily, but it is especially recommended for the 3 o'clock hour, known as the Hour of Great Mercy, and during the Divine Mercy Novena which starts on Good Friday and ends on the Sunday after Easter, known as Divine Mercy Sunday.
