Sheet Metal Folder Improvements - Forme Industrious

Описание: A few months back I made a sheet metal folder, and during the build I realised there were a few little things that I do to improve the tool. So in the video I take you on that journey. The plan was to have the top clamp bar adjustable fore and aft to compensate for material thickness and increased bend radius. Previously it was a little tricky having to hold the clamp by hand in position then tighten it up. this process made it hard to do repeatable bends. The new adjustment linkage solves that problem. The Top Clamp also suffered from flex in the middle so a centre tensioner solved that issue. Also Adjustment spanners speeds things up for clamping and unclamping.
Removing the paint is better too. It was just flaking off.

I also demonstrate how using "Slippers" increases the bend radius.
