One of the most notorious and brutal Queens of England was Mary I, who became known as Bloody Mary. She was a woman who would burn over 200 people at the stake across England, and she would suffer a lot throughout her life. Mary I had a number of serious health problems and concerns, and she also had false pregnancies which led to a lot of pain and heartbreak.
But in 1558 Mary I died inside of St James Palace, and she would then be buried inside of Westminster Abbey. However James I would later inter Elizabeth I with her half sister Mary in the same vault, but there would be little tomb for Mary. But in the centuries after her death, the burial vault of Mary I was broken into, and what was found was shocking.
