2025 UK T.T. TRAINING TOUR _ DAVID SENYO & ISRAEL AKLIE

Описание: APPRECIATION
The UK training tour for Israel Aklie and Coach David Senyo from 8th to 21st November 2025 by kind courtesy ITTF and GTTA was successful. Coach David Senyo Ahiaba and Israel Aklie are grateful to the ITTF staff including Dora Jeler and Mikael Anderson for the various roles they played which culminated to the success of the UK training tour.

A profound gratitude goes to the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) led by Mr. Mawuko Afadzinu for their great efforts towards the UK training tour.

Kudos to the coaches and physical trainers including Matjaz Sercer, Andrew Rushton, Carlo Agnello, Dave Hembrough, and Stelios Filaj who were part of the Sheffield camp, and also to the Coaches of the Grantham College Table Tennis Academy including Vidal Graham and Olly Tyndall. The coaches did not only train Israel but also gave him gifts including table tennis balls and clothing.

David and Israel are also grateful to the coaches in Ashaiman Table Tennis Club including Bernard Joe Sam and Richard Golightly who is the founder and owner of the club that David and Israel belong to.

Big ups to Nathaniel Kwesi Somuah (GTTA media officer) who visited David and Israel in Sheffield with gifts and also to encourage them to give off their best.

CONCLUSION
The UK training tour for Israel Aklie and Coach David Senyo Ahiaba gave them the opportunity to learn more about table tennis. Israel Aklie got the chance to train under well experienced England national team coaches. This wonderful opportunity helped a great deal to improve the performance of Israel. Coach David Senyo is optimistic that the lessons learned, and the experiences gained in the UK will have a positive impact on table tennis in Ghana, West Africa, and Africa as a whole. If Israel and other potential stars in Ghana and Africa get the necessary financial and technical support to continue going for training camps, Ghana and by extension Africa will soon produce senior World Champions.
