Major crackdown on crime in Berhampur! Police launch aggressive flag march and foot patrolling operation across sensitive areas.

In a strong move to control criminal activities and create fear among offenders, Berhampur Police continued intensive flag marches and foot patrols for the second consecutive day across the city.

Police teams conducted large-scale patrolling in crime-prone areas under Baidyanathpur and Gosaninugaon police station limits.

Under the supervision of SP Saravana Vivek M, around 5 platoons of police force along with ASPs, DSPs, and officers from concerned police stations participated in the operation.

According to police officials, the main objective of the operation is:

To boost public confidence
Ensure safety and security in the city
Send a strong warning to habitual criminals

Police have also prepared a separate list of professional criminals and are keeping strict surveillance on them. Authorities warned that strict and exemplary action will be taken against those involved in criminal activities.
