Tucked into Lancaster County’s rolling farmland, Intercourse is full of handcrafted charm, good food, local stories, and peaceful views that slow you down without trying. From sipping coffee at Smucker’s Corner to exploring Amish-made furniture and picking out a souvenir for a friend with a sense of humor—this visit surprised us in all the right ways.

We also met folks who shared their love for vintage cars at Barry’s Car Barn, and we wrapped up the day with live music under the stars. This is what Back Roads and Front Porches is all about.
