Ukraine Air Force pilot Colonel Oleksandr Oksanchenko, nicknamed “Grey Wolf”, has been killed in air combat against Russia. Oksanchenko’s jet was shot down over Kyiv by the Russian S-400 Triumf Air Defence Missile System on February 25. He was Ukraine's Air Force display pilot for the Su-27 from 2013 to 2018. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded the pilot the title of “Hero of Ukraine” for his bravery in the face of Putin's military onslaught.
