Who would lightly undertake the task of putting "this ode of singular excellence" [C. Spurgeon] to music? The words almost defy uttering them out loud. How much more creating a melody for them? When a song in progress begins to minister back to me, I consider that the great Author is present and has been involved.
This was a rough draft I put up to share with close friends. Decided that much "tinkering" could lose some of the emotion. Leaving as is.
