76th Constitution Day 2025: President Murmu Leads Preamble Reading, First Kashmiri Edition Unveiled

Описание: India commemorated its 76th Constitution Day with a national function at the Samvidhan Sadan, the historic Central Hall of the old Parliament building, in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the event, which was also attended by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The celebration was held under the theme 'Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman' (Our Constitution, Our Pride). During the proceedings, President Murmu led the nation in reading the Preamble and digitally launched the Constitution in nine languages, including the first editions in Kashmiri and Bodo. A commemorative booklet on art and calligraphy in the Constitution was also released. In his address, Vice President Radhakrishnan highlighted the country's economic progress. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid tribute to the framers of the Constitution, including Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
