Written for the 1964 TV series adaptation of the long-running Addams Family franchise, composer Vic Mizzy's catchy theme has become a Halloween staple and is forever associated with the kooky family of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday and Pugsley Addams (as well as Uncle Fester, Lurch and Thing). As well as finger-snaps and harpsichord, the theme notably includes additions from actor Ted Cassidy in his role as Lurch, saying the words 'neat', 'sweet' and 'petite'.
