The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps participates in the 2007 Virginia International Tattoo in Norfolk, VA. The Tattoo, held at the Norfolk Scope Arena from April 20-22 as a part of the Virginia Arts Festival, is the largest event of its kind in the United States. It has grown from 9 performing units in 1997, its inaugural year, to 34 units in 2007, involving a total of more than 850 performers.
