Looking ahead, IVI is revolutionizing cholera control with the simplified Euvichol-S, increasing production capacity to 70 million doses by 2025. The institute is also pioneering new vaccine formulations, including the thermo-stable DuoChol and a conjugate vaccine with Mass General Hospital and Harvard, targeting longer protection for children. IVI's efforts to simplify vaccine formulations and expand manufacturing across continents, including Africa, promise to deliver over 100 million doses annually, marking a significant leap forward in global cholera control and prevention.
