Step 1: Gather Materials

The materials needed for this mod are minimal and can be purchased at your local electronics store or online. You will need a coaxial cable, a pigtail connector, a new daipole antenna, and a soldering iron.

Step 2: Open Your Drone

With a small screwdriver, carefully remove the screws holding your drone's outer shell in place. Gently remove the top shell to expose the internal components.

Step 3: Locate the Antenna

Identify the location of your drone's current antenna. In the Eachine E58, the antenna is located at the top of the drone's camera module.

Step 4: Disconnect the Antenna

Unscrew the antenna connector from the drone's circuit board. Be gentle with the connector, as it is fragile.

Step 5: Prepare the New Antenna

Attach the pigtail connector to the new antenna by soldering it onto the coaxial cable.

Step 6: Attach the New Antenna

Screw the pigtail connector onto the drone's circuit board in place of the old antenna.
