গাজীপুরে বাঘেরবাজারে কারখানায় লাগা আগুন দুই ঘণ্টায় চেষ্টায় নিয়ন্ত্রণে এনেছে ফায়ার সার্ভিস। তবে, এখনও পুরোপুরি আগুন নেভেনি। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানায়, দুপুর একটার দিকে বাঘেরবাজার এলাকায় ফিনিশ কারখানায় আগুন লাগে। এসময় কারখানার নিরাপত্তা কর্মীরা আগুন নেভানোর চেষ্টা করে। তবে, দ্রুত আগুন ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। খবর পেয়ে একে একে ছুটে যায় ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ৯টি ইউনিট। দুই ঘণ্টায় চেষ্টায় নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে আগুন। এখনও নির্বাপণের কাজ চলছে। কারখানাটিতে কয়েল, ব্লিচিং পাউডারসহ বিভিন্ন পণ্য উৎপাদন হয় বলে জানিয়েছেন কর্মকর্তারা। আগুন লাগার কারণ ও ক্ষয়ক্ষতি সম্পর্কে এখনও কিছু জানা যায়নি।

However, the fire spread quickly. Upon receiving the news, 9 units of the fire service rushed to the spot one after another. The fire was brought under control after two hours of effort. The extinguishing work is still ongoing. Officials said that the factory produces various products including coils and bleaching powder. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known.
