Arrive to check in, and enjoy coffee, snacks, and a brief history of Dundee. Following a group safety briefing, warm up on our Five-Stand, and travel to the pine savanna in our Land Rover.
Ring shoots consist of 20 pegs around a large pine savanna and hillside, specifically managed for upland hunting. We release 500 pheasants as you move your way around the course. If you have never experienced the excitement of a ring shoot, you are in for an unforgettable hunting experience!
After the shoot we will toast our hunters, birds, and handlers in the field. A hot drink will be served from our mobile bar as we bring the harvest around to admire. During the hunt we will release two ribbon birds as an opportunity to drum up some competition amongst our hunters. The prizes will be given to the two sharp shooters who will hold their awards until the next hunt! Post toast, we will head up to the manor for game-inspired hors d’oeuvres, a sit down family style lunch, and our open bar, featuring an array of local libations.
