In this video we build an op-amp relaxation oscillator on a breadboard and watch it generate square to run a LED.
Using a single op-amp, single supply a few resistors, and a capacitor, we create a simple waveform generator based on a op-amp + RC charging circuit.
You’ll see how the capacitor charges and discharges between two threshold voltages, forcing the op-amp output to switch between +Vsat and –Vsat, producing a clean oscillation.
