Описание: The UC Berkeley Pre-College Scholars Summer Program is an opportunity for motivated high school students to learn alongside UC Berkeley students, learn from UC Berkeley faculty, earn UC Berkeley credits, strengthen their college applications, and experience college life over the summer.

In this video, we provide a comprehensive overview of the 4 unique summer program tracks, eligibility requirements, application process, and tips to increase your chances of success.

Residential Track Overview 🏠
Live on the UC Berkeley campus in the heart of California! This track includes room, board, health insurance, and access to all the services UC Berkeley offers.

Non-Credit Track: Computer Science Academy Overview 💻
Explore the world of coding with UC Berkeley’s Beauty and Joy of Computing curriculum. This 2-week intensive track is designed for beginners and focuses on fundamental coding principles using Snap!, a visual programming language.

Virtual Track Overview 🌍
Take UC Berkeley classes online, from anywhere in the world. Perfect for students with busy schedules looking for flexibility or those living in different time zones.

Commuter Track Overview 🚗
Ideal for students who live locally in the Bay Area. Students will commute daily to campus to study alongside UC Berkeley students and take advantage of all UC Berkeley resources.

Eligibility Requirements:
Must have completed at least 2 years of high school (rising juniors & seniors)
Must be 16 years old or older by the program start date
Minimum GPA of 3.0 (B average)
Don’t worry if your school doesn’t provide traditional grades—contact us for guidance!
