Three NS trains I caught on February 1st, two of which running insanely late. One of those was equipped with a NS #8101 Central of Georgia heritage unit. Unfortunately, they didn’t come through until after dark so it wasn’t exactly easy to see/notice by anyone who wasn’t looking for it. 242 caught me my surprise as I was just pulling into the nearby lot when the gates at the Walnut Street crossing started going down, giving me only a few seconds to get out of the car, pull out my phone and start recording. I also didn’t have a lot of time to set up for 27A either (was initially planning to get a better, closer shot of it with the heritage unit) as they were only about a minute or two away after 242 cleared the crossing.
