SERGEANT JASPER - A Boys Brigade short film

Описание: After 5 months grieving on his father's death, Jasper now is ready but nervous to return to parade under the new command of Warrant Officer Lester Chao. After their little conversation, Warrant Officer Lester welcomes Sgt. Jasper to the company.

Upon arriving to the church hall for company parade, Sgt. Jasper realises that there's no members but only him. He gets confused and asks Officer Lester. Officer Lester breaks the truth to him, leaving Sgt. Jasper very upset. He goes home and breaks the news to his mum. His mum then cheers him up by telling him to contact his old friends and members to join back the parade, since he is back as Sergeant, after 5 months of absence.

Jasper wakes up to a new day, he decided to start clean. He shaves off his beard and ties up his hair, and wears the right uniform. He then begin his calls to his old friends/squad members. However, none of them said yes, leaving Jasper very upset. His mum enters the room with a cup of tea, and tries to calm Jasper down by letting him know that "failure is part of the journey of growing". They then both joke about it.

At the end, Sgt. Jasper visits his dad's memorial and hoping that he didn't disappoint him.
